“Renaissance means “Rebirth-change”, and Village means “Community”. That is what my home is experiencing right now. Since September 1, 2014, we have been going through a rebirth, change. Our Nursing facility was acquired by another company named Platinum, and we are now in the process of change. They have given us a Oktoberfest, and a large Christmas party, that was opened to the public. A New Year Eve’s party. We now have free Cable television. Many changes thanks to our great staff members. I would like to give out my Kudos to our staff for bringing all this to fruition. Thanks Patti Templar, our Administrator, Angelica Yanez, our Director of Nursing, Judy Miles, our Social Service Director, Sarah Altizer, our Admission/Marketing Director, Cindy Graves, our Activities Director, Mary Walters, our Kitchen Director, Barb Wallace, our MDS Coordinator and to Steve Thacker who has spent many hours bringing all this “Rebirth” to us Residents. He has spent many hours to be here to carry out his responsibilities as a Maintenance Man, and doing all the changes. I would also like to thank our great nurses. They are always friendly and treat us like we are their only patient. We have the best nurses. This is the reason we are “family” and reason why I am in my comfortable home.”

“This is home. I like my nurses. I like the staff. The Activities Department is tremendous. Our Therapy Department is outstanding. Steve [Maintenance/Environmental Services] is the greatest!”

“[Mom] came to love all her caregivers and I realized I couldn’t find this quality of care for her at home. I don’t know everyone’s name but not one member of your staff has ever made me uncomfortable with our choice of Renaissance Village.”
